Kevin the great

                                                                 Kevin the great

Once upon a time there was a kid named Kevin. Kevin was about five foot nine, and one hundred and fifty four pounds. He was born in flint Michigan on April 29, 1997. Kevin had always been into music, he believes he was born on this world for one reason and one reason only, to be on a marching band. Kevin is living his dream as a flute player for the flint high Copper Ants. He had always been a good flute player but also always liked the triangle. He believes  that the triangle is one of the most important instruments in the music business. He had only played the triangle a couple of times but he is a wizard when he plays it on the wii.

One sunny day during school, Kevin was eating his lunch when right out of the blue, a dodgeball hit him in the face! It was thrown by Matt. Matt was the captain of fighting Copper Ants dodgeball team, he was 6 foot 3, two hundred and thirty pounds. Matt was the face of the Copper Ants and everyone feared him, except for Kevin. Oh kevin was furious about this, he got up, whipped the pudding off his face, picked the ball up, and threw it as hard as he can. That ball was fast, it came up and hit Matt right in the face, he flew back and landed on a bowl of ketchup. The whole building was dead silent. Then Kevin turned around and continued to eat his pudding. The whole building slowly began to raise in volume as Dave, who was standing next to Matt when he was hit, came up to Kevin and said with shock,"holy crap! You have to try out for our dodgeball team, no one will expect you to be any good!" so Kevin the next day after school practiced dodgeball for the Copper Ants.

After a Couple of months, the team made there way into the playoffs. Matt had   transferred and is now the captain of the Burton high Thunder Plants, and had lead there team to an undefeated regular season and is now in the playoffs too. Kevin is now the captain of the team and has a record For the fastest thrown dodgeball in high school history. Kevin also is the most popular kid in the school and is playing for the championship, tonight. "Let's go Kevin let's go!" the crowd screamed as the Copper Ants ran out onto the court of the Staples Center. Kevin was pumped and ready to throw some serious balls. Then the Burton High Thunder Plants ran out onto the court, they where all staring at Kevin, epically Matt, who wanted revenge. The referees then ran on to the court and got into game mode. Kevin and the rest of the starters where ready to go, and so was Matt and his team.

The crowd was dead silent as the referees yelled,"ready!" to Kevin and the same to Matt. "dodgeball!", the ref screamed as both teams accelerated to the line of balls. Kevin got a ball and got one of Burton's players out. Then Matt got one of Flints players out, and that is how the whole game went. Back and forth and back and fourth they went. All the way until only Kevin and Matt where on the court. The crowd was in complete silence. Both Kevin and Matt had a ball, and stared into each others eyes. "you will never win", Matt said. "Then how did I get here?", Kevin replied. After those intense words, Matt winded up and threw his ball as fast as he can, it was heading right for Kevin's face, Kevin then did a backflip and dogged the ball! The crowd went nuts! Everyone was yelling for Kevin as he winded up and sacked Matt in the upper shoulder to win the game! Kevin was shocked at the fact that he is the state champion and probably the best in the world, and won MVP of the game. After the astonishing win Kevin went on to play for the Michigan Phone Chargers and lived happily ever after.

                                                                       Myths

Myths are stories that involve the twelve Olympic Gods, Goddesses, and more. Nobody knows if these stories are true or fake for sure. People back in ancient Greece believed and lived by them. People in today's society think that these stories are fake. The people from ancient Greece where very convinced that these myths where true. Myths had a very important role in ancient times, many people practiced and believed them.

People in our current society believe that myths where created to entertain, and they still do. You can see myths and gods in movies such as "300", "Percy Jackson and the Olympians", and "Hercules". There is one thing that really makes myths look fake and thats religion. Religion is in every ones life nowadays. Myths really don't have an important role in today's society because they aren't thought about much. People really don't care about them.

On the other hand in ancient Greece it was everything. Myths where there religion. Myths had an extremely important role in ancient Greece. Myths affected everything. They affected war, how people live, and everything else. People thought that thunder and everything that is of mother nature was from the gods.

The people of ancient Greece and today's society had one thing in common. They both where entertained by the myths. The people of ancient Greece and today's society had very much in difference. Ancient greece has different feelings towards myths and today's people have religion. Myths overall made there part which is big in history and will still be known in the future.

Michael mark

My name is Michael Raymond Mark. I am fifteen years old and was born on April twenty ninth, nineteen ninety seven, in Altamonte Springs. I was born just after my twin brother and three years after my sister, who is eighteen. My family has five members in it, my mom, dad ,sister and brother, also my family has a dog named yoda who is a Boston terrier. At the age of two, I started practicing mixed martial arts and still do it today as a jr black belt, the jr is because I have to be 16 to become an adult black belt. At the age of ten, I began to practice jujitsu. My mother started her own school of mixed martial arts and jujitsu in the year 2007. In sixth grade I started playing football for the Pierson wildcats and then went on to play for the DeLand bandits. I now play for the Lake Mary Prep griffins. I started racing at age eight with gocarts and now I'm working on a 1972 pinto to race. I'm also a surfer. I've been surfing ever since I could walk, I remember wearing goggles so water didn't get into my eyes. I have lived in DeLand my whole life and want to stay in Florida as I grow up. I want to become an NFL player and study sports medicine when I grow up. My favorite classroom study is chemistry in school and that's pretty much it. My life is good.
